Beautiful & Charming Historical Home

A recently retired & charming couple who have been dedicated in preserving this beautiful historical home in all it's glory. Built in 1917 the shiny hardwood floors still squeak and the original brass hardware & stain glass still shine. His passion is collecting early American antiques and she likes to add her touches of quaint warmth. We felt as though we were stepping back in time & enjoyed adding some color to this beautiful home...
Whites & Greens are used to embellish this lovely antique oak mantle…simple touches of white & soft green hydrangeas are added to his beautiful antique dining table as well.

Mercury glass & silver collection displayed in large sunny window...
 A punch of color...
Looking out of their kitchen window to one of the original & very large walnut trees planted in the backyard...
Beautiful stain glass oak door leading out to the backyard...
This sunny kitchen window has enough counter space in front of it to display some of her special pieces…this pane window is large enough to hang a seasonal wreath to enjoy.
Quaint kitchen table ready for summer.
Loved their large slabs of flagstones under each pot on their large front porch…admired this growing hydrangea it wintered well!

Until next time…have a wonderful summer!
