This display is filled with wonderful old found items from europe with that farmhouse feel. Antique large hay rake, heavy old wooden wheel, aged rice buckets, and large carved wooden scoops. Handmade Wool Felt Hats
Celebrate hat day this week! A precious and talented friend from Tulsa has created these beautiful hats for the shop. Through a process of hand knitting wool yarn to dipping them in scalding hot water to felting them, she then hand shapes them to acquire the finished design. Each hat is one of kind, unique, and a treasured keepsake. We know that you can look like Diane Keaton too!! We gladly take orders as well she is a very artistic designing woman!
French Metal Bottle Racks
Love these metal bottle racks holding red Vietri coffee mugs have always wanted one on my kitchen island! These were a common household item used in almost every French Chateau dating back to the 1800’s that is presently coveted for it's aesthetic appeal in today's French inspired kitchens.
The purpose of the French bottle drying rack was to provide a place for French families to dry and store empty wine bottles before returning them to the vintner for refills. Because of their spiky appearance the bottle drying rack was nicknamed “hérisson bouteilles”, which means “bottle hedgehogs” in French. They are whimsical yet very functional pieces of French history that will give your kitchen that "vintage industrial meets classic French" look.
