Ashley River Angel

Historic Charleston Fans you need the Ashley River Angel adorning your garden.
The story is told that the original Ashley River Angel was found in the Ashley River in Charleston, SC. With broken wings, and a broken arm-it was decided to keep her just the way she was! She was an original 1864 marble statue.
Standing at almost 3ft in height, she has been a ‘best-seller’ for a number of years. She is beautiful featured on one of our square fluted pedestals.
Each piece takes on weeks-long moldmaking process, and then cast the reproduction from an extremely fine cast-stone aggregate that is strong, weather resistant, and capable of capturing the finest and most minute details. Made to last for centuries. Handmade in North Carolina. Family Owned Business.
“Our Company was founded on an abiding love of the garden antiques that have graced American and European estates for centuries as well as the exemplary craftsmanship that has allowed them to stand the test of time. In 1992, we became one of the first companies to create historical reproductions in composition cast stone, and we did so with an unerring commitment to the casting techniques and hand finishes that would make each replica nearly indistinguishable from the original.
Our thoughtfully curated collection of singular pieces isn’t the only thing that makes us unique; our work exemplifies a level of craftsmanship and artistry that is rare in the industry. We’ve spent years mastering the time-honored Old World techniques that enable us to create stunningly realistic cast stone reproductions. But we’re also committed to evaluating and perfecting new technologies that can turn today’s contemporary pieces into a future generation’s beloved antiques.”

Hot Pepper Raspberry Tenderloin

Our new Hot Pepper Raspberry Jelly is delicious on a cream cheese stuffed bacon wrapped tenderloin. Wrap the tenderloin in bacon before smoking on the grill or baking in the over. A customer told us about this recipe we can’t wait to try it!
Butterfly the tenderloins with a super sharp knife. Make sure not to cut through the bottom end. Sprinkle the inside with Nature’s Seasons, then split the cream cheese between the two along the length of the pork loin. Spoon jam on top of the cream cheese and spread evenly. Wrap with bacon and toothpick to hold together.
Place in a shallow roasting pan and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes. (The general rule of thumb with pork loin is 25 minutes per pound. I started with an hour, but ultimately let it go until the bacon was to my liking. If you prefer crispier bacon, let it roast for an additional 10-15 minutes.) Or 8 hours in a crock pot without the bacon.
Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Remove from pan (there will be a lot of grease from the bacon) and set on a cutting board to rest for another 5 minutes before carving. Serve with steamed broccoli and steamed sweet potatoes or your favorite light sides.
