Winter Greens

This large wicker dipped basket is filled with our beautiful pine, iced fir, ruffled cream & red tulips, and wild birch branches. This basket is actually going to be a Christmas tree this year for a customer and will continue to be beautiful and enjoyed all through winter.

Prickly Pear Margaritas...Combine the tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and our new prickly pear syrup or jam in a cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously to incorporate. Wet the rim of a margarita glass and dip into salt and sugar mixture. Pour margarita into glass over ice. Garnish with lime.

3 ounces tequila blanco

1/2-ounce Cointreau

1 1/2 ounces lime juice

4 tablespoons of prickly pear syrup or jam (Pick up at Bonnes Amies kitchen)

Kosher salt and turbinado sugar, for garnishing the glass

Last Order of Amaryllis

Our last order for Christmas has arrived today in berry red and marshmallow white wax with red blooms. Chilled and freshly unboxed we can’t keep them in stock! These are beautiful and so festive wrapped up in our sheer tool as a special winter gift! Adorn your table this Christmas with a beautiful live blooming Solid White or Red Lion Gold Wax Dipped Amaryllis. Waxed Amaryllis bulbs do not require any water because the bulbs contain all the water and nutrients they need to flower. Limited quantities hurry to get yours this week!

Every bulb grows at its own rate. There is no way of controlling when they will actually bloom. Waxed Amaryllis bulbs usually grow two stems over 4-5 weeks, producing multiple flowers per stem over the next 3-4 weeks. Blooms should be expected in 8 to 9 weeks after purchase. Some can take even a little longer, around 10 – 12 weeks. 

We always recommend trimming withered blooms to promote further growth and to keep the Amaryllis in a well-lit room but avoid direct sunlight. Giving the bulb plenty of natural light will stimulate growth. Rotate it every couple of days to help it grow straighter. Be careful not to expose the bulbs to freezing conditions.

Made in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico every piece is hand-etched with a grinding stone and experienced eye — adding intricate details and artwork such as flowers and leaves to elevate the glass and make the most of materials that would otherwise be discarded. To blow this glass, artisans preserve a technique that is more than 500 years old; the technique was introduced to the country around 1535 by Spanish artisans.
