Frozen Chocolate Cherry Mousse Pie

Make a Frozen Chocolate Cherry Mousse Pie for your Valentine this year...delicious light and fluffy chocolate filling drizzled in our favorite chocolate sauce!
Ingredients
For the crust:
1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
6 Tablespoons butter, melted
1/4 cup confectioners’ sugar

For the filling:
3 cups whipping cream, cold
1/3 cup confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup Stonewall Kitchen Dark Chocolate Cherry Sauce (Pick Up Your Jar At Bonnes Amies Kitchen)

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
For the crust- add melted butter and 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar to the crumbs and mix until the crumbs are uniformly coated. Place crumbs in a 9-inch pie pan, pressing to line bottom and sides of the pan (the bottom side of a measuring cup works well to firmly press the crumb mixture into the pie pan). Bake crust 10 minutes. Remove from oven and cool.
Whip cream in a chilled mixing bowl with a whisk attachment on high speed until soft peaks form. Whisk in the sugar and vanilla.
If the Dark Chocolate Cherry Sauce is not pour-able heat it slightly in the microwave or in a small saucepan over low heat. Make sure it does not get hot. Gently fold the sauce into the whipped cream mixture. When uniformly mixed transfer to the pie crust. Smooth top and sprinkle the chocolate, cherries and nuts over the top. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer at least 6 hours or overnight before serving.
Every once in a while we create something that's so good it keeps mysteriously disappearing from our test kitchens. Case in point, our Dark Chocolate Cherry Sauce. We found the perfect balance of rich, dark chocolate and sweet cherry that seems to captivate everyone who tastes it. It's truly amazing and adds so much delicious flavor to desserts, breakfast breads or even coffee! Be warned though, it can vanish overnight!
