A faithful friend and companion for each busy day of customers, design jobs, big boxes coming in and out of the door. Each morning we could tell him good morning and each evening we would say you were a good boy! (Except when he would try to chase the UPS man) He was a greeter to customers, a beggar for french fries and loved all of us faithfully. I know within my heart he was greeted by a few people in heaven. Goodbye Stumpy all dogs go to heaven...

Handmade African Woven Baskets

Garlic Rosemary Chicken Skewers

Ingredients

4 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
1 bottle Garlic Rosemary Citrus Sauce (Pick Your Bottle Up At Bonnes Amies)
1 box instant wild rice mix
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup apple juice
1 medium zucchini, diced
1 pint cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1/2 cup sliced almonds, toasted

Directions
Heat Grill. Place chicken cubes on bamboo skewers and place in a shallow pan.
Pour Garlic Rosemary Citrus Sauce over the chicken and let marinate until grill reaches medium heat.
Grill skewers 8-10 minutes on each side, turning frequently so as not to burn.
Prepare rice according to package directions.
Add zucchini to the wild rice in the first half of the cooking process. This will soften up the zucchini.
Soak golden raisins in apple juice to plump.
When the rice is fully cooked, remove from heat and add the drained raisins, cherry tomatoes and toasted almonds.
Serve the grilled chicken skewers over the wild rice.

Banana Walnut Waffles

Full of down home goodness treat your little ones to banana walnut waffles this weekend! If you have not tried our Farmhouse Pancake & Waffle Mix you are missing out it is simply the best!

Banana Walnut Waffles
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups water
3 eggs, beaten
3 cups Farmhouse Pancake & Waffle Mix (Pick Your Mix Up At Bonnes Amies)
6 Tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped
1/2 teaspoon Blue Truck Mexican Vanilla (Pick Your Jar Up At Bonnes Amies)

Directions
Mix water with beaten eggs. Add Farmhouse Pancake & Waffle; Mix and mix well.
Stir in melted butter and remaining ingredients until all of the dry ingredients are well incorporated.
Ladle batter onto hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
Serve with Maine Maple Syrup!
