Western Christmas Home

Our last Christmas house we are grateful, blessed, and a little tired! Love her Pendleton blanket wrapped around the base of her tree, her woven rug stockings, and Lucy her yorkie. This home has a traditional western feel with leather furniture, colorful persian rugs, and unique pieces. So fun to wave a magic wand and make this home sparkle for the holiday season! What a great family and we hope they have a wonderful Christmas!!

The best way to make Mexican Hot Chocolate is with clay cookware - a Mexican Kitchen’s staple. Passed down by the Aztecs, it’s still preferred for the unique flavor it lends to food. This handcrafted jug is made with ancient hand-molding techniques from the past, and finished with new techniques (and a lead-free glaze, of course) to be both functional and decorative. It’s perfect for making traditional Mexican hot chocolate.

Unexpected versatility
The jug can be used directly over heat (a flame or electric range) - just add milk and chocolate.

The pot can also be used to heat teas, soups, and coffee.

And can we talk about its triple functionality as a vase or decoration? You’ll be impressed.

Better with care
The hot chocolate jug gets better with time and care. It needs to be cured, but it’s worth it. To cure it, fill with cool water below its rim, bring the water to a boil on the stove, and allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes. Turn off the heat, and allow the water and pot to cool. Discard the water, and your clay pot is ready to use.
