Madeline's Nursery

Wanted to post some pictures of our latest project-our nursery. We wanted to go with a French/Swedish eclectic look with the washed out creams, blues, and chocolates.
The wicker chair shown here was repainted and recovered in a chocolate and aqua toile. This was the chair my mother rocked me in when I was a baby. Notice the antique German quilt box in background that seems to tie the look all together!
Repainted this antique scotch chest in a pale turquoise color-it made it pop in the room!

Antique Eastlake furniture is recovered in linen script fabric. When I found them all that was there was the frames and the original horse hair stuffing. Great pieces!

Above the baby bed is a French grain sack framed out with an angel watching over from San Miguel. This room has turned out to be so much fun!

Special touches always make a room more personal-a sweet friend gave this to me as a gift. Love it so much! These personalized baby blankets and pillows are available at Bonnes Amies and make such sweet gifts!
