What do you do for table centerpieces and arrangements the first of January? It's for sure not spring yet and still winter bitterness...A breath of fresh air this week to get to work with fresh hot pink, purple, and white violets, white kolaches, and beautiful snowy white cabbages and paper whites for a bridal luncheon. Centered is a simple lantern wrapped with bright green satin ribbon and snowy twigs and surrounded by green ivy and freshly cut cedar….
Something I think we all are longing for and the whites are beautiful for a bride this time of year...
If you would like your own pot of snowy cabbages to perk you up we have a flat left….pot them and put them in your kitchen window or set them outside on a sunny day. I ask Venita my mother if they were editable…."Of course not they are ornamental!" I guess I thought they looked delicious!
