Grandpa Pyper’s Vanilla Ice Cream🍨

Our kitchen has been restocked with the best Mexican Vanilla just in time for summer! This is our go-to ice cream recipe and always delicious!
Grandpa Pyper’s Vanilla Ice Cream
(Mexican Vanilla Recipe)
3 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 cans evaporated milk
2 pints cream
“smidgen” (1/4 tsp.) salt
3 T. Mexican Vanilla (New Shipment in At Bonnes Amies)
2 cups milk
Mix eggs, sugar, and 1-1/2 cans evaporated milk. Stir constantly and heat until scalded, but not boiling. Remove from heat and cool in refrigerator. When cold, pour into ice cream can, add remaining ingredients and mix in ice cream machine.
About 5 minutes before it is ready, add in the crumbled Butterfingers, sliced strawberries, or whatever you desire!
