Spring Greek Pasta Salad

We love pasta salads for spring & summer and this is a simple, fresh and yummy recipe! Perfect for enjoying outside on the patio!

Ingredients1/2 pound pasta, such as fusilli or farfalle (We have both pastas in at Bonnes Amies Kitchen and they are wonderful and make a plentiful amount! $4.95 per package)
8 ounces of your favorite Greek or Italian Salad Dressing
3/4 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in quarters
3/4 cup snap peas, cut in half and blanched
1/2 cup black olives, sliced
1/2 cup cucumber, peeled and sliced
6 strips of cooked bacon, crumbled
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions, drain and set aside to cool.
Place cooled pasta in a medium sized serving bowl. Add remaining ingredients and gently toss.
Serve chilled or at room temperature. Add additional Classic Greek Dressing if needed. Serve with Venita's hot french bread.

Durum wheat semolina is organically grown on small family farms in the rolling hills overlooking the Adriatic sea. The semolina is then carefully ground and combined with pure mountain spring water to produce a fine dough, which is extruded through hand-made bronze dies to create a rough texture. Instead of flash drying in ovens, the artisans dry their prized pasta slowly in traditional drying rooms. These practices produce a delicious hand crafted pasta with a unique porous texture that cooks evenly and holds sauces beautifully. $4.95 a Pasta Package

Well did you know that March was women’s history month? The month is dedicated to highlight the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. Plainview is filled with women owned businesses as well as Bonnes Amies! When you shop with us or any other family owned woman operated business you are supporting the local women that work there as well as their families. Shown here is Kinsley, Venita, Roseanna, D’Ann, Keita, Amanda, and our little Madeline. We are...working at WBU to finish college, trying to keep a small business open in a small town, retired yet still working, raising our granddaughter, raising two small children and working, ministering God’s word to other women, and last but not least trying to survive second grade and make it in elementary school. Each time you shop with a small business you are supporting each of these women’s dreams...and many other working women’s dreams as well. We really appreciate everyone that steps through our doors. Christmas is around the Corner!

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening..Christmas is already around the corner for us(we have to start early!) and these beautiful creative trees inspired us at market with milagros, vintage mercury glass garlands, colorful vintage felt ornaments, and whimsical fun touches! We are going to have a variety of “Christmas looks” this year can’t wait!

We are making the track through market and finding inspiration for summer with colors, texture, and unusual fun finds! Indigo, Lagoon, and Tomato are fresh bright fun colors for summer. We can’t wait for the arrival of brightly printed dog scarfs, embroidered textured colorful pillows, terra cotta serving pieces, blessing beads, and new Consuela totes. Looking at many neat garden items as well to make your outdoor spaces creative and colorful.
