Hot Honey Banana Bread

The addition of hot honey takes an ordinary (yet delicious) standard and makes it extraordinary!
Hot Honey Banana Bread
(a hot new twist on an old favorite)
Makes one 9-inch x 5-inch loaf
What you need:
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup Savannah Bee Company® Hot Honey (+ 2-3 tablespoons to garnish)
1/3 cup avocado oil or butter (melted)
2 eggs, beaten
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 firm banana, sliced long ways in half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
What to do:
1. Wash Up!
2. Preheat oven to 350º F. Prepare a 9x5 loaf pan with non-stick pan spray or butter (we prefer butter).
3. Prepare Batter: Combine brown sugar, hot honey and avocado oil or butter until sugar is fully saturated. Add in eggs and mix to combine. Add in mashed bananas and vanilla and mix to combine. Add in flour, baking soda and salt, then mix until barely incorporated.
4. Pour Batter: Pour mixture into your prepared loaf pan. Press the remaining sliced banana lightly into the batter with the flat side up until the banana is level with the batter. Generously coat the exposed area of the banana in hot honey and drizzle the top of the banana bread with any remaining honey.
5. Bake Bread: Bake for 45-55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
To Serve: Allow to cool at least 10-15 minutes before serving.
Pro Tip! You can add 1/2 cup of any of your favorite add-ins! Try toasted pecan pieces, chopped chocolate chips, or roughly chopped bananas!

A favorite in my house for summer cookouts and afternoon snacks. This is amazing on hamburgers and sandwiches you have to try it! Basically a gourmet mayonnaise with a kick!
This amazing Maple Bacon Aioli is for anyone who craves the captivating taste of real bacon and sweet maple syrup. From lunch to dinner this aioli wakes up taste buds and adds great flavor to sandwiches, burgers and grilled meats. Enjoy!
Bacon, Spinach, Tomato, & Avocado Sandwich
Ingredients
8 slices artisanal crusty bread
Maple Bacon Aioli (Pick up at Bonnes Amies Kitchen)
12 slices applewood smoked bacon
1 cup fresh baby spinach
Fresh basil leaves
2 heirloom tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
2 avocados, sliced and slightly mashed
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Toast the bread.
Cook the bacon until crispy and brown. Set aside on paper towels.
Spread aioli on one side of each piece of toast.
Divide bacon, spinach, fresh basil leaves and tomatoes on 4 pieces of toast over the aioli.
Smash sliced avocado on other 4 pieces of toast. Put the smashed avocado toast on top to finish each sandwich and serve.
