Before & After: The transformation of an original 1950's ranch style home into the imagination of a couple's dream home is simply amazing! How rewarding to take their things after they have completed months of hard work and some special pieces to make it into a home with a great rustic and warm feel. Her style is rustic yet refined with a feminine French touch...she is a baker, a mother, and one of the strongest women we know. Our favorite things...the antique wooden peg beams from an old barn in Illinois incorporated in stone throughout. Original hardwood floors were ebonized, walls were burlaped, plastered, and glazed giving it a wonderful feel. A home filled with creativity, warmth, and texture and memorable stories to hold ahead!
