Vietri Old St. Nick For Christmas

Do you know we have carried the Vietri dishes for over 10 years now in the store?

We all use it in our homes daily and love it. The Old St. Nick pattern is a charming set to use and give for Christmas this year....

What could be more whimsical than the individual portraits of Old St. Nick? Each Santa is created from Maestro Alessandro Taddei's childhood memories of stories his mother read to him.
Made of terra bianca, each portrait is painted directly on the fired surface in Tuscany so that each stroke is seen in detail. This chocolate pot and latte mugs would be great little Christmas gifts....mix with some of our freshly ground coffee or hot chocolate. These cute little red boxes full of straw make the perfect gift! The square santa plates above are perfect for cookies....fill with cookies and place one of our cute cast iron mice on top a thoughtful and wonderful gift!

Also mixed in with this display is the beautiful red and chocolate dishes by Vietri and crema serving bowls and platters...Come check them out they are pretty cute for the holidays!

Fun Game/Activity Room

Yesterday we got to pull together a fun game/activity room for three great kids. This antique bed was the customers bed as a little girl so it was transformed into more of a daybed/large sofa for the kids to read and watch movies from. Yet still usable for guest when they visit....

We hung these bright red shutters on each side of the windows and hung these fun chevron lanterns and intertwined with our wide burlap ribbon as a fun and easy window treatment....

Antique gameboards were hung on the walls giving it a fun touch..metal library ladder works perfect to hold games and dvds in metal wire baskets....

This area on opposite wall is nearly finished working on large sepia toned portraits of each child to hang on either side of distressed turquoise mirror...Fun foosball table was being assembled to go in room and they are working on mounting a large flat screen on wall. Such a fun room!

Large Wide Burlap Ribbon

Loving this large and extra wide burlap handy for a variety of projects it is beautiful looped on a Fall door wreath or basket, intertwined on a Fall table, or used for window treatments or curtain tie backs. Even great to hang prints or paintings from...softens and gives interest to an area.

Green succulents mixed with Fall Leaves

This fresh display reminds me of the final evenings outside before winter sets in. Loving these bright green succulents mixed with Fall leaves and the small white washed greenhouse full of them. Today I brought home one of these fun striped tablecloths to work up on my table on my deck. Planning on stacking freshly picked pumpkins and concrete figures together as the centerpiece should be a beautiful day!

Mercury Glass Pedestals, Copper Mercury Jugs & Mercury Pinecones

Worked on this display today with aged silver mercury pedestals in large and small sizes....Mercury bowl pedestals which are so neat to hold pillar candles. Will be beautiful for the holiday seasons on the way...great white-washed flat pillar pedestals are so neat to add height to a display or to put a cloche on.

A close up of the large mercury pedestal and jeweled bird boxes. Love love these large copper mercury jugs would be a fabulous collection together in a bookcase or on a fireplace mantle. New wonderful wide burlap ribbon is in...tie it to a door basket or loop above a painting neat ribbon to work with.

Our old wooden angel paintings are in the background and in the front is one of our new pieces aged and hand finished Virgin Mary. We think she would be beautiful for Christmas wrapped in greenery as a centerpiece on a mantle or table. She would be beautiful anywhere her antiqued gold crown can be removed.

Jugs & Jars

Loving all the great jars and jugs arriving in....rustic and old looking gilded with gold and silver. Mercury glass jars in silver and copper are beautiful to display anywhere in your home. Cast iron mice are back in so cute to display on a hutch in your kitchen...New items arriving weekly!
