Spicy Peach Amigo
Ingredients
Cocktail
2 oz Tequila Blanco and Reposado
1 oz Jalapeno Peach Preserves Syrup*
1⁄2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
1⁄2 oz Lemon Juice
Mezcal
Lime Wedge and/or Jalapeño Slice
Tajín, optional for rim of glass
Jalapeno Peach Preserves Syrup*
3 parts Fredericksburg Peach Preserves(Pick up jar at Bonnes Amies Kitchen)
1 part Hot Water
Directions
Cocktail
Pour in Tequila Blanco or Reposado, Peach Preserves Syrup, Lime Juice, and Lemon Juice into a shaker.
Add Ice to Shaker. Shake until the tins are frosted.
Pour and double strain into a Lowball glass.
Add Ice.
Add Mezcal to a spray bottle. Spray Mezcal over the cocktail.
Garnish with lime wedge and/or Jalapeño Slice.
Peach Jalapeño Preserves Syrup:
Add preserves, seeded jalapeño, and hot water to a blender until desired consistency.
Strain through a fine mesh strainer and let cool.
