Farmhouse Pancake & Waffle Mix

 

Sensory overload may be the best way to describe the aromas and taste of pancakes made with our delicious Farmhouse Pancake & Waffle Mix. Loaded with flavor and cooking up light and fluffy, every day can be pancake day. Top them with our Maine Maple Syrup or our tasty jams for a truly blissful morning.

Blueberry Muffins

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups Farmhouse Pancake and Waffle Mix

1/2 cup sugar

1/2 cup milk

2 large eggs

2 ounces melted butter

1 cup heaping, fresh or frozen blueberries

Directions:

Mix batter thoroughly with other ingredients, then carefully fold in berries. 

Bake at 350 degrees F. for 20-25 minutes.

Banana Walnut Waffles
The crunch of walnuts adds a wonderful touch to this breakfast or brunch treat.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups water
3 eggs, beaten
3 cups Farmhouse Pancake & Waffle Mix (Pick Up At Bonnes Amies)
6 Tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 cup ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1/2 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
Directions:
Mix water with beaten eggs. Add Farmhouse Pancake &Waffle Mix and mix well.
Stir in melted butter and remaining ingredients until all of the dry ingredients are well incorporated.
Ladle batter onto hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown.
Serve with any of our syrups.

 After a chilly winter this home needed a Spring pick me up! We loved adding pops of color in specific places such as the dining table, kitchen island, coffee table, and entry. A family on the go that is enjoying their beautiful home they can now look forward to Spring and special occasions ahead!

Blueberry Cheesecake Squares

Blueberry Cheesecake Squares
This recipe is the definition of a perfect springtime treat.

Ingredients:
Cookie Crust:
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
1 teaspoon ice water
Cheesecake Filling:
16 ounces (2 packages) cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
2 eggs
1 cup Wild Maine Blueberry Jam (pick your jar up at Bonnes Amies)

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13-inch pan.
Place flour, sugar and salt in food processor and pulse.
Add butter and process until the dough begins to form a ball, adding ice water if necessary.
Press dough evenly over the bottom of the prepared pan. Bake until crust is lightly golden, about 20 minutes. Let cool for 30 minutes.
While cooling, prepare filling. Mix softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended.
Add eggs and mix just until eggs are incorporated.
After crust cools for 30 minutes, pour cheesecake filling evenly over the crust.
Spoon Wild Maine Blueberry Jam randomly on top of filling and then swirl to combine.
Bake at 350 degrees F. for approximately 35-45 minutes or until center is set. Allow to cool in pan.

This piece is hand crafted and hand painted by these artist. The colors on this cabinet are original. Due to their bleak surroundings the people of Katmandu prefer radiant colors which are highlighted in these select pieces we receive in....

This cabinet would be perfect in a kitchen space stacked with your favorite dishes and serving pieces, in a living area as a great bookcase with the doors open, even wonderful in an entry to hold a collection. With ample shelf space and muted aqua colors this is a wonderful and unique piece!

The soft muted colors of these old rustic doors are very appealing...a very neat piece.
