 BEFORE: A bedroom and living room makeover for a charming woman that wants a fresh updated look for her home. She loves to travel, collects antiques, and is busy with a challenging job. Her antique bed was gorgeous but the new bedding we added gave the old a fresh feel along with new modern mercury glass lamps. Her living area once arranged and television wall created resulted in a pulled together warm space. The great new metal coffee table, colorful rug pillows, antique trestle table, and succulent arrangements gave this home a definite and defined look. We hope she enjoys it as much as her beautiful kitty!

European Courtyard Makeover in Plainview!

BEFORE: Can you believe this beautiful courtyard sits in Plainview, Texas? Now this outdoor space feels like it could be in the South of France! With the addition of our farmhouse zinc table and reclaimed wooden chairs with her great wine barrel and accessories it turned out wonderful! What a great space to enjoy coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Since there was no existing patio and an overgrown tree and old original pond...her desire for a beautiful outdoor space came true.

Spicy Chili Bacon Cornbread

Need a cornbread recipe with some pep to it? Try this recipe when you put on your next pot of beans on a cool Fall day!

Spicy Chili Bacon Cornbread
Ingredients
Your personal cornbread recipe(or Betty Crockers or your grandmothers ;-) )

1/4 cup Spicy Chili Bacon Jam (Pick Up Jar At Bonnes Amies)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 Tablespoons scallions, minced
2 pieces bacon, cooked and crumbled

Directions
Preheat oven to 400° F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.
Make cornbread batter according to your instructions
Heat Spicy Chili Bacon Jam for 10-20 seconds in a small bowl in the microwave or in a small sauce pan.
Mix Spicy Chili Bacon Jam, cheese, scallions and bacon into the batter. Pour batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cornbread comes out clean.
Cool on a rack. Cut into squares and serve.

A Fall Home Filled with Ghost & Goblins!

Bacon, Spinach, Tomato & Avocado Sandwich with Aioli

Tomato season is in full swing! Celebrate your garden tomatoes and fresh basil with a BLT sandwich. Have you ever tried our Maple Bacon Aioli? It is a heavenly mayonnaise spread that is excellent on sandwiches, hamburgers, or even served with pork tenderloin. Try it you will be coming back for more we promise!

Ingredients8 slices artisanal crusty bread
Jar of Maple Bacon Aioli (Pick up at Bonnes Amies Kitchen)
12 slices applewood smoked bacon
1 cup fresh baby spinach
Fresh basil leaves
2 heirloom tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
2 avocados, sliced and slightly mashed
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Toast the bread.
Cook the bacon until crispy and brown. Set aside on paper towels.
Spread Maple Bacon Aioli on one side of each piece of toast.
Divide bacon, spinach, fresh basil leaves and tomatoes on 4 pieces of toast over the aioli.
Smash sliced avocado on other 4 pieces of toast. Put the smashed avocado toast on top to finish each sandwich and serve.
